Testosterone Replacement Therapy Clovis, CA

For most men, getting older is a distant thought; a time when bucket-list items are crossed off the list, financial goals are accomplished, and retirement awaits. But then, one day, we wake up and realize that we're not just getting older - we are older. Workouts in the gym start to cause more aches and pains the next morning. Keeping weight off around the midsection is much harder than it once was. Stretching before an impromptu game of basketball isn't just a good idea - it's necessary for you to perform. And that gets to the crux of what men hate most about aging - the inability to perform as they used to, whether it's in the bedroom or on the basketball court.

Unfortunately, there's no avoiding the inevitable. As men age, their testosterone levels deplete, causing a slew of mid-life maladies like:

  • Depression
  • Fatigue
  • Loss of Energy
  • Lack of Interest in Sex
  • Low Sex Drive
  • Can't Hold an Erection
  • Irritability
  • Weight Gain
  • Muscle Loss
  • Hair Loss
  • Nagging Injuries

A disgusted diner at the Four Seasons Chinese Restaurant in Clovis, California, has revealed the moment he spotted a large rat chilling out on top of a chandelier.

Alongside a video, the customer's Facebook post last week read: 'Last Sunday my family and I went to eat at the 4 Seasons Chinese restaurant in Clovis and this is what we saw.'

In the footage, viewers can clearly see a rat pottering about on top of one of the restaurant's glass chandeliers as its long tail droops through the light fixture.

Martin Santarosa, who recorded the video, can be heard saying: 'That's not on the menu huh?'

The restaurant was closed for three days so pest control could clean and sanitize the building - but Fresno County officials said there was no evidence of 'rodent nesting'.

The large rat was seen hanging out on one of the restaurant's chandeliers, to the horror of the man waiting for his order

Santarosa said he and his family had been going to the restaurant for the last five years and that most of the time the place is clean.

'I mean the food was good at that place it was just the fact that we saw the rat right there,' he told Fox26. 'I don't think were going to go back to that place anymore.'

Santarosa said he noticed the rat hanging out on the light fixture while he was waiting for his order. He immediately started recording and also informed the restaurant.

'One of the waitresses right there I called her and I told her hey look at that and she said 'oh' and saw me recording and she said 'Oh now the whole world is going to know,'' he said.

Initially, Fresno County officials said that the restaurant is 'current with their fees and permit' so there is no 'need to perform an inspection at this time.'

On Tuesday, the county updated its stance: 'The Fresno County Department of Public Health (FCDPH) is aware of the rodent that was seen in the dining area of the Four Seasons Chinese Restaurant.

'The FCDPH Environmental Health team is currently inspecting this restaurant and will evaluate if a closure is needed. We understand that this situation has caused concern for customers, and we want to assure you that the FCDPH is taking every possible step to ensure the safety of the food.'

Then on Wednesday, the county issued another statement: 'The Fresno County Department of Public Health – Environmental Health inspected the Four Seasons Chinese Restaurant and found no evidence of rodent nesting.

'However, there were cleaning and possible vermin entrance violations. The owner is closing the restaurant for three days to have pest control clean and sanitize the building.

'They will also seal any holes and install sweeps on the bottom of exterior doors. A new pest control company will be hired to provide regular scheduled servicing.'

The restaurant agreed to close for three days to allow pest control to do a sweep of the place

An anonymous employee of the restaurant previously told Fox26 that he has been in the restaurant industry for more than two decades and the Four Seasons kitchen is the cleanest one he's worked in.

He further stressed that the rat incident came as a shock considering how frequently they clean and that something like this has never happened before.

An American man has shared his film of his “out of this world” encounter with a UFO. Jason Beard, from Clovis, California, spotted something strange in the sky with a “round energy ball” beneath it in his hometown on October 22.

He managed to capture some of his experience on camera, which showed what he described as a “pearly white object” that moved smoothly across the sky. Suddenly, what he interpreted as an extraterrestrial craft took off “like the speed of lightning” and disappeared entirely from sight.

In the video clip, Jason angled his camera towards the sky and tracked the movement of the unidentified flying object. “What the f*** is that? See that there what I’m looking at, dude you’ve gotta get a look at this thing. The little thing, the little thing way up there,” the clearly shocked Californian can be heard saying to a bystander while he was filming the airborne phenomenon.

While posting the video on Facebook, Jason said it was evidence that humans are not alone in the universe. “I know it’s hard for some to believe but it’s okay,” he wrote on the social media website.

“This thing was Pearl white with a round energy ball below it and spinned before vanishing into the sky like the speed of lightning before my eyes. I can’t deny what I saw. We are not alone people.”

Jason, who is a personal trainer, later recalled his experience to Fox26News, saying: “I happened to look up in the sky, and I never really looked in the sky, and I saw this thing floating. It was going really fast, it was spinning, and it had like something under like a ball, and this thing was just gliding fast.”

CORRECTION: Chad McCollum, Economic Development and Housing and Communications Director for the City of Clovis, said the earthy taste from the water in Clovis last week was the result of a naturally occurring compound called geosmin from the treated surface water.

Corrected Aug 23, 2023

For many Clovis residents this week, their tap water has had an unpleasant taste and odor.

Some have said the water coming out of the faucet has tasted like dirt. Others have said they have even smelled the unpleasant odor coming from the water in the shower. Either way, it’s caused sudden concerns about their drinking water.

“Is anyone in the Clovis area having a problem with their water smelling like sewage and tastes bad too?” Clovis resident Frances Brown wrote on the Nextdoor.com app.

“Seems my home is and the water dept says there’s been other complaints.”

Nonetheless, the City of Clovis said the tap water is plenty safe to drink and use for bathing.

Turns out the “earthy taste” of the water, as the city described it, was a result of the public utilities department treating the water.

“What you’re detecting is a naturally occurring compound called ‘geosmin’ from the treated surface water,” the City of Clovis said in a social media posting. “Geosmin can give water an earthy or dirt-like taste or smell.

“Some people have a higher sensitivity than others, and while the taste and odor can be unpleasant, geosmin is not toxic or harmful.”

According to the City of Clovis, geosmin is produced by various organisms that thrive when source water temperatures are high.

The City of Clovis has been adding treatment to the water to help lessen the presence of the compound.

As of Friday afternoon, the taste of tap water in Clovis seemed less funky but still had a slight bit of an odd taste.

The City of Clovis said geosmin cannot be removed entirely from conventional treatment processes and that they’re looking into a long-term solution to combat what’s apparently a seasonal issue.

“I’ve lived in my Clovis house since 1985 and in this area since 1965, and I never had noticed something as bad as this in the past,” Brown said. “I’m glad they got to it.

“The guy who rents a room from me, he said I couldn’t even brush his teeth with the water cause it tasted nasty.”

For additional information, residents are answered to contact the Public Utilities Department at 559-324-2600.

A man has filmed his "out of this world" UFO encounter after seeing an object with a "round energy ball" underneath it spinning across the sky.

Jason Beard, from Clovis, California, spotted something strange flying over his hometown on October 22. In a moment he managed to capture on camera, Jason saw a "pearly white object" gliding across the clouds before it suddenly took off "like the speed of lightning" and vanished.

In the footage, Jason points the camera up towards the sky and follows the white object. Shocked by what he was seeing, he can be heard talking to someone off camera, asking them: "What the f*** is that? See that there what I'm looking at, dude you've gotta get a look at this thing. The little thing, the little thing way up there."

Posting the video on Facebook, Jason claimed the footage was proof "we are not alone". He wrote: "I know it’s hard for some to believe but it’s okay.

"This thing was Pearl white with a round energy ball below it and spinned before vanishing into the sky like the speed of lightning before my eyes. I can’t deny what I saw. We are not alone people."

Recalling what he'd witnessed, the personal trainer told Fox26 News: "I happened to look up in the sky, and I never really looked in the sky, and I saw this thing floating. It was going really fast, it was spinning, and it had like something under like a ball, and this thing was just gliding fast."

After he posted the video to social media, Jason said it was analysed by a "UFO expert" who goes by the username @tictacufo and he determined it was "unhuman".

"If you look at the video, it shows a big ball of energy below the craft, and it shows the craft like in the middle of it and just this big purple energy. It just looked... it looked ancient. It looked unhuman," the UFO enthusiast said.

In his own post about the video, @tictacufo explained he'd analysed the footage by putting a filter over it that allowed him to see "all the energy that's actually surrounding the object." He said: "So we see purple right there, that's the energy that's surrounding the object, the object is actually inside of that purple so if you see here there's a white circular object in the middle of all that purple dark mass of energy.

"In my opinion, I'm not a physicist, that's the antigravity energy. There has to be a certain way that these objects can fly so they emit this energy."

Some viewers were convinced by Jason's footage, taking to the comment section to show their support. "I believe you," one person commented. Another agreed, adding: "100%! I believe!!!!!"

One person even recalled a similar encounter, writing: "I’ve seen same s**t, mine was more mercury coloured and it was globing on top of a house here in Fresno in broad daylight! Then it vanished deep into the sky so fast that it left a digital trail like a mouse would on a computer screen, if that makes any sense. I never got to take a video but I went nuts and called Air Force and news stations. Of course they all thought I was crazy lol".

However, some thought there may be some more earthly explanations for the strange object. "The military hides a lot of their technology. For example the stealth jet was kept a secret for many years. So could be military testing its war crafts," one person speculated.

Another noted it was travelling along a flightpath, commenting: "No vapour trail? We’re still within flight distance and path of Edwards, Vandenberg, and some other large UAV bases and test locations in California to include Skunkworks. Odd indeed."

But Jason isn't convinced it could have been anything else. "Oh, it's just a drone, it's just a satellite or a government blah blah blah... No. I've seen everything in the sky from growing up, and this was just... it was nothing I've ever seen before," he said.

Already home to one of the most popular new restaurants in town, the corner of Willow and Shepherd avenues is about to get even busier.

The corner — once farmland with a railroad passing through — is adding more restaurants, and construction will soon start on a new shopping center across the street.

With Willow as the dividing line between the two communities, the developments straddle Fresno and Clovis.

The northwest corner, called The Row at Heritage Grove, in Fresno houses Saizon, a restaurant that opened in December and books up on weekends well in advance.

It’s also home to Ampersand Ice Cream (with long lines sometimes forming out the door), Revival 23, a Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop, gift and floral shop Flora Flower Co. and more.

Two new buildings are currently under construction on the same corner.

And diagonally across the street, on the southeast corner, a new shopping center with homes, offices and retail space called The Avenue is about to be built.

All are part of a project by the Heritage Development Company. That’s a partnership between two big farming and packing families in town: The Parnagians and the Ricchiutis.

To prepare for construction of the new center, the store Enzo’s Table has moved across the street to The Row, near Flora Flower. Run by the Ricchiuti family, the store is known for its award-winning olive oil and foodie gift baskets.

It also carries the farmers’ peaches, plums, nectarines, nuts, and fresh vegetables grown in a garden near the packing house on a third corner.

The former Rosetti’s Biscotti House, once run by a cousin, has been brought under the Enzo’s Table brand. The cookies are now sold at the store.

Enzo’s Table often attracted crowds for the food trucks it hosted. The trucks are sticking around on the corner until the end of July or so when construction starts.

There’s a plan in the works for what happens with the food trucks next, but details can’t be shared just yet, said Vincent Ricchiuti, a manager with Heritage Development Co.

“I will have new and fun information on where those are going,” he said.

At The Row, Saizon, a blend of Napa Valley and Mexico City cuisine, has been mostly reservation only. It recently started accepting walk-ins when it has availability.

The restaurant is run by Brandon Smittcamp, who owns The Lime Lite, and Kevin and Rema Koligian. The trio also own restaurants Heirloom, Butterfish and Mayd Modern Mediterranean.

The partners are planning another business on the same corner. The yet-to-be named cafe and bakery will be located in an existing building, on the west side of the center, Ricchiuti said.

Smittcamp declined to comment about plans for the business, saying it is still far from opening.

The business is still in the permitting phase, Ricchiuti noted.

“I’m hopeful by the end of the year they’ll be serving coffee, but no promises,” he said.

The Habit Burger Grill is going into the stand-alone building that’s under construction near Willow Avenue.

The restaurant is expected to open around the end of the year, or during the first three months of 2024, according to the company.

A local, high-end tea shop called Drip will also move into that building.

Another building is under construction on the Shepherd side of the center. That one will be home to a medical spa, and possibly a women’s boutique, Ricchiuti said.

The new center across the street will be similar to The Row. It will have about 256 apartments, 12,000 square feet of office space and about 30,000 square feet of retail and restaurants.

So far, no leases have been signed, though the developers are in talks with several businesses, Ricchiuti said.

“We’re hoping to have a flagship restaurant” near Enzo’s when it moves back home, he said.

He’d also like to see another restaurant, a gym and other fitness-related businesses open in The Avenue.

Once they break ground, construction is expected to take 18 months, he said.

“We’re obviously really excited about what we’ve done at The Row,” he said. “Now having Enzo’s Table here, our own family has literally a front row seat at the exictement that is The Row and The Avenue is the next chapter.”
